U t X - Under the Cross
St. Andrew's Youth Group
UtX is an ecumenical senior high youth ministry. They meet every other Sunday at 6:30 PM in the Youth Room.
UTX took an opportunity sent by Thrivent to fill stockings for delivery to shelters. These stockings and contents are supplied directly to us through Thrivent. Stockings have been filled by UTX and Confirmation Class and will be delivered to Shepherds Place, Whatcoat, Men's Shelter and Moms House on Sunday, December 18. Later that evening we will have a combined Christmas Party for the group.
UTX and confirmation have signed up to participate in the 6:00pm Christmas service.
Both groups helped with the recent cookie walk in the baking process as well as the day of the walk.
We will be initiating the new teen service January 8.
Plans for Fastnacht will be discussed and started in the new year; We are asking council and church groups and individuals to participate with skits, songs and music. Skits cannot be repeated from last year. We will have the pancake supper prior to the evening event. We would like council to again participate as well as to help us spread the word to get committees and groups to do the same.
Alicia Jones and Morgan Brown have agreed to serve as youth liaisons for the coming term.
